Hey, I’m Lisa, a registered Psychologist.

I’m big on you feeling comfortable and safe to share in our online space together. I take my time to learn about your life and what’s brought you here, so that we can develop a tailored approach to meet your therapy needs.

Clients often describe me as empathetic, kind, attentive and I sprinkle some laughter throughout our sessions.

I am committed to a person-centred approach, which means I value your unique experiences and trust in your inner capacity to grow. I meet you in vulnerability, whether you’re experiencing stress, navigating family relationship dynamics, maybe you’re in the thick of motherhood or maybe you are wanting to build your confidence.

I offer a completely non-judgemental space for us to explore what matters most to you.

Fees: 

Initial assessment 80 minutes: $307.5 ($208.55 after Medicare rebate)

Ongoing sessions 50 minutes: $205 ($106.05 after Medicare rebate)

Please note the Australian Psychological Society (APS) recommended fee for seeing a psychologist in 2024 at $318.00/hour, though we have kept fees at $205.00/hour.

Rebates:

Please note I am SIRA accredited, offer private health insurance rebates and Medicare Mental Health Care Plan rebates upon request, please let me know in our first appointment if you are wanting to use the MHCP.

The MHCP means you may be eligible for $98.95 rebate per appointment for up to ten sessions.

If you would like to use the MHCP, please visit your GP for a Plan and email the Plan to the practice hello@thepsychcollaborative.com.au

If you are a WorkCover client or case manager, please email your approval letter to admin@thepsychcollaborative.com.au

Evidence-based treatment that I utilise in session include, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment therapy, Mindfulness-Based therapy and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy.

What about when I’m not with clients? 

My favourite things to do are hanging out with family or friends trying out new cafes, shopping, and going to the park. I love to play the piano and sing. If it’s a rainy day I will definitely be inside enjoying some of my favourite movies or tv shows.
